 Meeting place in Peace.  It is 4 stories tall with elegant rooms at 100gp a night.
WAR,
Royal war
 This war was fought in 253 and was between Aquila, Belliard, Georginia and Kanaeda.  It was the most violent war Astoria has ever seen.  Aquila had an agreement with Georginia to stay out of the conflict.  Kanaeda and Belliard tried to destroy the Aquila shipping but the escalation was seen at every level.  In the end each country had lost thousands of men.  Aquila lost 50% of all battle aged men while Belliard and Kanaeda lost 85% and were devastated for generations afterward.  Only Georginia came out mostly unscathed.
Great war of the Ancients
 This war was fought in 201 between Aquila and Georginia.  The battles were almost exclusively fought off the coast of Georginia and Aquila.  The war was fought over the marriage between the princess of Tasslemer and of the southern duchy of Rabat.
Dreadnaught war
 After the Dreadnaughts figured out a way to travel to Astoria they poured into the north regions in 119.  They started a war with the Alguadorans and killed them outright.  After a few months they enslaved the remaining people and began constructing large building and temples to their god Rex.  They Remain peaceful until 495 and began a large invasion into Aquila and Kanaeda.  The Kanaedites quickly sought help from the north and the south and killed the invaders but at a high cost of life.  The dreadnaughts were delivered a heavy blow themselves and retreated back to their capital at Zukala.  Where they remained for over 150 years.
RepTog war
 In 538 Lizard men and Murks came into Kanaeda again hoping to divide the continent into 2 parts.  Again Aquila joined with the southern neighbors which was Carthapia, which included troops from Belliard and Kanaeda.  The battles where again short and the war was again a heavy burden on both powers of humankind.  The mountain passes protected both Aquila and Kanaeda but also the dark shadows of Cantar also placed a large obstacle to the murks lead by 12 dreadnaught officers.  The war began in 539 and ended that same year.

Thirty years war
 This war lasted from 548-579.  It was fought between Georginia and Kanaeda over the territory between Logarth and Moreshar.  The current borders of the two regions were decided upon after the last battle known as the Battle of Galador to most Historians.
Vox War
 This war was fought over the territory south of Omar including Omar which was once part of Belliard until this little fight began.  Aquila acquired the land as a safety zone from attacks from Belliard. It was fought in 614 after much tribal conflict and outright attacks across borders.

Holy Kanaeda war
 Fought in 641, It was a fight between Luthorian worshippers and Funterian in the Desert of Kanaeda.  The battles were nasty and bloody but  most of the deaths were from dehydration.  The fighting took thousands of worshippers lives and 5 years to end.  In 646 the Luthorian went underground and have remained since that time.

Carthapian Secession
 This war began in 665.  It started when the Cousin of the Duke of Belliard decided he could no longer be a party to the Belliard conscription and there was a large civil war that ensued.  In 8 months Shifobi Was born.  Carthapia was shrunk by the war by the exclusion of the newly formed territory known as Shifobi.  The Duke of Shifobi Became the King by default.  He still is known by many as Duke Shifobi.

Forgotten
 This was forgotten by most people because it was so short.  It was fought between the Neuposa Empire and there legions of Murks and the Humans, elven and Dwarven armies of Aquila.  The war was won due mostly to the cold weather that killed the murks in a massive way.  It seemed like a miracle to the retreating aquilan armies.
Wataska
 Island in the far north of the North Sea.  The Wizard of Wataska was named Zemeckis.  He is an evil lord who worked for the King.  The Chicago party began their days in Wataska prior to their escape.

Wellington
 Large city in Jordinia and very prominent in the southern trade centers.  It was the capital of Georginia.  Since Jordin became King the new capital became a small city not even listed on old maps.  The city was called Galva, but today it has been renamed JO-RIDAN in honor of the King. Jo Ridan can be found 50 miles west of Wellington.  The King himself stays in the city all year round.  He sends local Counts and Lords outside of Jordinia to perform routine political missions.
Wing-Kong
 The Monk holy order of Phasol, call themselves the Wing-Kong.  They are experts in capturing maneuvers and in the use of weapons.  They like to use shurikins, katanas and other swords.
Wusan
 Far south island in the Orient.  The residents are very highly religious.

Xaac-Nuriah, Crown of
 This relic was held by the Lich Rath Mort.  It was taken by the undead hunters when they killed the Lich.  They gave the item to Gramarious.  The magic of the crown provides protection against undead.
The powers of the Crown are listed below.  When placed on the head of a creature they will immediately
need to make an M.R. check at 1/2 value.  No saving throw.
The crown will immediately devour 5 magic items on the wearer.  Every time it is put on it destroys 5 random items.  The crown has many powers.  Equal to........................
+5 protection  It dissuades attacks (-5) to attacks
It allows free action  It provides the body 100% anti-aging.  It provides 25% Magic Resistance
Spells casts by the owner cause all opponents to 1/2 their own M.R.  Someone with 50% M.R. would be reduced to 25%  The crown allows perfect sight, infravision, Ultravision, and invisible sight from the spell. 
The crown can be used to create a warping hole 1/week.  The hole will bring about a large portal equal to 50ft by 30 feet.  It can only be opened on a plane perpendicular to the ground.  The crown will hold the portal for up to 100 rounds or 1 round after concentration ends.  The portal is a two way portal used to allow large armies to pass into uncharted land.  The important statute is that the portal can even open a gate to the lands of Cantar both directions.  This really ticks off the powers of the mists.
Xex Lectel
 Dreadnaught prince who took on Deadnots in a Leaper adventure.  He failed to kill them.

Xion Lachok bow
 These are special Oriental composite long bows that are sought after by archers throughout all of Astoria.  The bows are light and strong and have the design to be used in heavy combat as well as high accuracy for assassins and hunters.
Xonithok, Castle
 Located in Oran and ruled by Duke Yveton Relliso
They are very involved with gold, copper and some fishing.  The castle itself has large amounts of gold and copper built into its construction.  The entire southern kingdoms and duchies get most of their hard precious metals from Oran.

 Wife of the emperor Moghuna.
Yuan-Xio-Dong
 Trapped wizard dragon king by the demon Mao-Zin.  Trapped in an ancient orb.  Original being who set out to save the Orient by gathering up youngsters who went to their death in the name of justice.

 

Z
Zafarous
 Plane in Archomodium where dead mortals are sent to rest their souls.  There is no sensation of temperature on this plane.  All creatures not bound to the land by dying on the prime will have their senses disoriented during their stay.   Magical flying and levitation is useless here, unless you are a winged creature without magical assistance.  If killed on the plane the character will disappear for an extended length of time and reappear later.  Those who die arrive on the plane naked in an energy state but will seem to themselves as whole persons.
Zafarous Crystal Devils
 Very evil creature and extremely dangerous.  They devour souls and beings.  They are actually miss named creatures.  They are not made of Crystal but of the material the plane itself is made from.  They suck souls to the plane when found on the prime.
Zaka-Ureathra
 Fort Zaka-Ureathra.  Neuposa stronghold and closest fort to Aquila.  It has been raided more then one time.
Zakuri Mountains
 Range of mountains between Kanaeda and Neuposa.  The mountains are over 400 miles in length.  The peaks are low compared to other parts of the Vox range.
Zam River
 River flowing into Neuposa.  The river is a very fast flowing river comparable to the Takahano river running in Belliard and Kanaeda.

Zastronia,
 Kingdom of Zastronia.  It is ruled by King Rogar Hussitus who resides in the Palace of the Shiu which has a population of 3,500.  It is the major bread basket of the south.
Zeka River
 River flowing out of the Zukala lake.  This river is a slow flow river.  This river was the site of a great battle so long ago that most look at the incident as a legend.  A young wizard challenged a Dragon to a duel.  The Dragon was a great Wyrm.  It was known only as the old one and was gray in color.  The dragon flew over the young wizard who shot lightning and black colored energy from his fingers and the dragon exploded that bright sunny day.  The wizards name eludes history entirely but many feel the wizard was a young Fuscia wizard named Powell.  Others feel it was the now believed dead wizard Gramarious.    The river is strategic to the Neuposa region but has little power or influence outside the region.
Zen, Demon Hunter
 Famous Demon Hunter from Aquila.  He fought in the Forgotten war and rose to a powerful hunter in only a few short years.  He killed more demons than any other single demon hunter according to history which is of course written by his best friend and comrade Calin the Bishop of Hobble.  As a young and  weak hunter as well as severely wounded he once was praised to have taken on 4 Dreadnaughts and won.  In fact it was 3 but whos counting.  He has the Girdle of the Ancients and other items including a sword of the Realm known as KillsDemon.  His most famous story which is told by Bards, begins as he lost his head in battle.  Most warriors would take this blow very hard.  He simply reached down to find it so he could see where to swing the next round.  He was one of the nastiest warriors ever to find his way through Cantar as well as frequent visits to Daka.  He helped to hunt down and destroy some of Astorias greatest threats in this time line as well as countless others.  He too is a prominent member of the Deadnots and friend to Calin.
Zima
 City in Kanaeda.  It is not that large but serves the temples and mountain people in the north of Kanaeda. It has served as a base of operations to the Hope party on more than one occasion. 

Zing-Whehn
 Cousin to the real emperor of the Orient.  Zing has been known to take the form of snakes to spy on the emperors enemies.
Zola river
 River out of the Zakuri mountains.  This river is the widest river in Astoria at some points.  Very few dreadnaughts can be  found south of the Zam river.  Lots of humans and Lizard men live on the far side of this river.

Zoran
 A Hoonka warrior met by the Deadnots and escaped.  Zoran was a katana wielding mad man who seemed to rival the great Roota moota
Zoraster, Family of
 Nosferatu family.  The origin of the Nosferatu come from Dawne and his descendants who are all Zoraster by name.  Duke Kanaeda is of the Zoraster family.

Zorasus
 Great hunter
Z.U.J. [Zakarabell-Und-Jahib] new capital
 Neuposa capital.  After the Forgotten war in 667 ZUJ became the new capital.  The Emperor took his throne to ZUJ and that was the beginning of a new day for the dreads as the humans now call them.
Zukala, City
 City in Neuposa near the blank Zukala lake.  This was for over 500 years the capital of dreadnaught empire.  It failed to serve them and now is a deserted town of a few hundred.
Zukala, Lake
 Lake in Neuposa leading to the river Zeka and out to the sea. This lake provided water and travel for the old capital.  Now it is hardly used at all.
Zukos, Lord
 Lord Zukos is a member of the Tashot family.  Lord Zukos was a typical Tashot and had fearless battle skills as well as a temper.
Zulabrink (Calin)
 Ivory sword that is lawful neutral in alignment.  It is +1 normally and +4 verses dreadnaughts.
