The Fuscia Age

This time took place during the 5 centuries before the great Cataclysm.  There were wars and great works of art but most of that time was lost as the entire world turned upside down figuratively.  The continent of Trollidor flooded and was torn asunder.  When it was all over nearly 100 years had passed and the continent was divided into two.  One side called Astoria had shifted to the east by nearly 500 miles and the side known as Trell went whirling off into the west.  Nothing was heard of it again.  The Tower of Fuscia came into being.

The Great Cataclysm

This event took place at the end of the last age.  During the cataclysm the two worlds split and changed forever.  The mist came out of chaos and nothingness and covered all Astoria.  Trell moved too close to the dark water of the world which caused severe damage to the continent of Trell.

The Age of the Duke

The new record is what the Quantom church called the time after the Cataclysm.  It began with the date called the year of our world 0.  From that point on the date has been adjusted by 1.  Many events occurred during the Age of the Duke.  These years saw great battles and many greater heroes.  Only the Undead Hunters of the age kept order among the houses of the Vampire.  Airymagnus came into Astoria during the latter part of this age and made the Duke Jealous and desperate to gain the status of a Power.  In the end he had to give up his roll and allow his own destruction.  His believers were more fooled and dragged into Cantar as the age came to a close.

The Age of Rebirth

The new beginning began in 727 and continued on to …..

Significant Events of Astoria during the Age of the Duke

-0  Cataclysm ended

-03  the new Kingdoms of Georginia, Aquila, Kaneada, and Alguador were created

-10  A union of the Georginian Kingdom and its duchies.  As well as the sovereignty of the other Kingdoms in the area.

-12  The mist of Cantar appears of the coast of Cavanador devouring ships randomly.

-120  Empire of the Dreads created and conquest of Alguador, renamed Neuposa.

-201  Great war of the Ancients fought between Aquila and Georginia.  Mostly at sea.

-178  Ransom of the Duchess of Kanaeda

-178-253 is the Great period of Peace.  The village of Peace is created around the Tower of Fuscia.

-253  Royal War began This war was fought between Aquila, Kanaeda, Belliard and Georginia.  The war was violent and deadly.

-276  Royal War ended an agreement was reached and stood by for now nearly 400 years.

-278  The Republic of Peace is created and the Funterian Cathedral is built. 

-304  The Crystal Library sometimes called the Quantom Belieki University was established.

-391  Cavandor devoured by the mist of Cantar

-497  The Dreadnaught War  This was the first war between the world of men and the alien beings known as the dreadnaught..

-539  RepTog War  This war took place between Neuposa and 2 unlikely allies.  The allies were Aquila and Carthapia.  It included troops from Kanaeda and Belliard.  The war was long and hard fought lasting over 7 years.  The mountains added to the difficulty of the battles.

-548  Thirty year war  begins 548 ends 579 fought between Kanaeda and Georginia.

-599  The republic of Peace formed in the land of Aquila with the approval of the king of Aquila.

-614  Vox War A war fought by Aquila over territory with Belliard.

-641 -646  The Holy Kanaeda War  fought by the Funter church in the Kanaeda desert over religious reasons.  Luthorian worshippers there, were destroyed in less then 5 years.

-665 War of Carthapian Secession Shifobi seceded from Carthapia with little fighting,  approx. 6/92   

-667 Forgotten War This war was between Aquila and Neuposa.  It was a quick fought.  The War between the Murks and men.  approx. 4/93

-670  Assassination of Duke Shifobi by Belliard and the turmoil of the new borders.  approx. 10/93

-671  Georginia is united again by great leader and names the kingdom Jordinia.

-673  The beginning of the Day of UBEK 6-8-95

-674   The world was saved and the day of Ubek was pushed back a great distance,  The day may never come. 8-13-95

-676   The current year The undead hunters wiped out the Mohabu the ultra evil extremely tough Spider Demon.  The Vampire hunters wiped out the House of Kiros.

-677  The Deadnots vanished after taking down Dawne.(spring 97)

-678  The Flatbush party for lack of a better name starts out.

-680 Airymagnus the Emperor and Denaug hold 93% of all land of Mainland.

-678-690 Construction years.  Massive Slavery and monument building.

-697 The Prisoners of Denaug escape and flee to the highlands.

-699 Height of Airymagnus reign

-700 Deadnots return in February, Flooding begins to recede but damage has been done.

-701 Duke Kaneada becomes a greater force in Astoria

-710 Airymagnus is slain by Kaneada and Zen

-722 The Village of Redemption is the site of the Death of Kanaeada.

-723 The Rise of the ZenKillsDemon Library also known as Nezslic Nomed Library for the gifted.

-724     The world decends into warlordism, and feudal leaders throughout.  The only organized government left is the remnants of the Kingdom of Aquila.  There is little left but distant relatives of various royal members.

-725  Grell is killed by Gol-duk.  Gol-duk was the Mage High Priest that Grell was not prepared to meet.  The Heartseeker was lost, but not before Gol-duk was trapped by the holy secret sect of vampire watchers.  They trapped Gol-duk and his linage was in ruin.

-727 The POD return home from exhile in the Orient to the desolation of the land.  They departed in 699.  They have aged and matured and become great friends with many Oriental people.  Their lives were bound to the land but some if not all have chosen to return to their former lands to see if it could be rebuilt.

THE NEXT AGE BEGINS

-727 The age of Rebirth....

-732 The age of the Denaug and the Duke passes and the warring factions of humankind find a truce and hold slaves once again.

-736     The Troll War--(02-01-02)  The trolls have banded together with the Tog armies and the lizardmen to defeat the swelling masses of humans.  Many humans have been recaptured and are held in slave camps in the border territories to the east.  This is where the true human revolution will begin.  This troll war was short lived.

-822 The truce is broken, the warring begins again.  Much of what is left is in ruins.  90 years of peace comes to an end.

-843 The Wisp Campaign begins.  The Age of the Nilrag comes to pass. 8-2002

-844 The Clan Campaign or (Wisp) is halted, 1-3-2003

-846 The Airymagnus-Cursed Remnant 5-2004 

-863 The Plague of Branerton begins. 12-2004

-864 The Plague of Branerton continues to spread rapidly. 3-2005

-867 The Plague party of 5 escape from prison in the drow underdark 7-2006

The Age of Quiet

-869 The Age of quiet began, as the Branerton 5 destroyed the plague, but along with them, the empires of old fell.  Peace reigned.  There were so few left that much rebuilding just would not happen for a long time.
