The last adventure ending with a the cliffhanger of the party watching darkness close in around the village.  "Soon a massive army came over the horizon, and darkness began to fill the sky.

The adventure began with the village being closed in on from all sides.  The bay was frozen over, the horse rider messengers were sent out to alert the nearby villages, and seek help from neighboring militias of Tallwood and Merlsward.  

Cold snowy weather descended on the village and the party at the time of the attack.  Dark clouds closed in around the village.  The goblins sent small groups to test the perimeters for weakness.  The party reinforced their area with barricades with 2 fallen trees.  Janar Gloin came to the immediate area of the Western wall to lead the defense for the mayor.  The goblins sent a second attack that again was repelled, but this time with more damage done to the weakened party.  Both assaults were made in the initial few minutes of the advancing army.

The third assualt some 50 minutes after the initial attack, nearly breached the walls, as the party received their oil to burn bodies and keep the barbarians at the gate.  They splashed and burned the goblins, but 4 of the militia lay dying from the attack.  Between the dramatic healing provided by Barock, Broddur and LuMei, the party regained their composure, and the warding spell was completed by the mayor providing something beyond the initial +1 to attack inside the village walls.  Or the +2+2+2 with a spear, and later +9HP and +4 more to attacks with spears inside the citty walls during the next 24hours.   

The Gnome, Lorelei remembered a story from her grandmother about the location of an old supply tunnel.  Lorelei, Precious and Savanah used the tunnel to recon the goblins, and eventually attack them.  More attacks came from the goblins, but eventually the war machine was found taken with horses town the West toward the village walls.  Spears were being throw and several (6) struck one of 4 horses dropping it.  The other 3 slow down with more weight to carry.  We come head long into another
