Abadora
City famous for the bones which were said to have been placed there. The Bones of Abadora. In fact it is an abandoned village that is mostly a cemetery. The city was part of the last Evil party adventure in Chicago.
Abak
Abak is a large city located in Belliard. It was originally a sea merchant trading town that had significant contact with the sea elves. The city currently holds the Manor of the Duke of Belliard as well as having the central military position for the continent of Astoria. The city has approximately 58,000 people within its city borders. It has become a city that is known for its mercenaries as well as the home base of such legends as Zen the Demon hunter and Duke Anthony Bane.
Abba-Cid Power
This is also known as AC power. This is the name given to a power source of mystic nature named by anal retentive priests of Quantom.
Aferdale
Aquila town near Hamel. This was once a very important trading center.
Ah-zeem
High priest of Al Abuden. His wife is a dao named Sharolyn. They live in the southern desert of Kanaeda. Ah-zeem is known for transforming enemies into snakes and other desert animals when he is really annoyed.

Airymagnus
Mostly Harmless. A powerful wizard,
some may think the most powerful Wizard
in Astoria. He is comparable to the Fuscia
wizards without their restrictions.
Akabar
This Kingdom is THE dwarven Kingdom. It is located near OMAR in the Vox mountains. The mountains themselves are named after the first dwarven King Ja-Ral-Vox. The king is known today as Far-Res-Ja-Ral. He is the Great-great-great grandson of Ja-Ral-Vox. His keep is under the mountains of Vox. Its location is a very well kept secret in Astoria.
Akamarir
Tomb of Akamarir. Akamarir was the giant guardian of the library of the ancients. This creature first encountered the Deadnots many years ago when they were still young and weak.
Akira, Talisman of

The Talisman of Akira is a very power magic item bestowed by the gods on wayward travelers from outer worlds. The gift is so rare as to have only 6 turn up in all of Astorian history as put down by the Quantom church.
Al-Abuden
He is the god of the desert and desert peoples. He is one of the original gods to turn against Quantom in the original holy texts and to be banished to the nether worlds of Cantar.
Alforden
Alforden was a kingdom from before the Cataclysm. The Kingdom took the entire northeast of Astoria including all of the Vox mountains all the way to the Parkanian mountains. It was broken up right before the cataclysm.

Alexander Reynar
King Alexander Reynar is the King of Logarth. He lives in Castle Galador. The castle lies in the north corner of Logarth which is in the middle of Jordinia. The Castle is strategically located to defend against invaders. Traditionally this has included the Kanaedites to the North. He has always been known as a vicious warrior and talented tactician and political master. He is a small man with many friends. Most Southern Kings have friends to maintain there power.
Alguador
Name of empire in the North of Astoria that was destroyed by the dreadnaughts and was located in present day Neuposa. Alguador ceased to exist in 120.
Alisa
Funterian Priestess who is very powerful. She resides in a keep near the city of Vox.
Alkazar
Powerful wizard dreadnaught.
Alphonse DSwassi
King of the City of Hope. This highly important trading center was fought over for years. During the battle of Li during the Royal war Hope was the only free city on the continent. Alfa as the kings friends call him, is a great fisher and does so as much as his duties will allow him. His wife is dead but he pays a great deal to honor her memory each month.
Amigae(Lord)
Suspected Nosferatu leader. Once killed by Kassandra the Vampire hunter. She later found out that the Nosferatu dont die easily. He still owns large amount of silver in the Amigae mines of Jordinia located south of the Parkanian mountains.
Aquila
The Most Northern country. It has a population of 1,000,000 persons.
Ruled by King Richard and Queen Christina. The Kingdom is divided into 3 principalities. They are Tasselmer, Valkris, and Feygus. The Kingdom has many battles with its neighbors over the centuries. It is by far the most powerful country in all of Astoria. The Kingdom has more Military forts then all other countries.
Archomodium
This is the name given to the heavens by the faithful as well as the scientific definition of the planar configuration of the universe. All known planes are part of Archomodium. The inner planes, the ether and the astral are threads of one universe tying Archomodium to a unit.
Artoc
Wizard from Athogate who is also the Royal Vizier. He is the most famous non Fuscia wizard in Astoria. He has been associated with the Stipend a few years ago. They were a group of mercenaries who were available for the highest bidder. Artoc

The name given to both the continent as well as the world that the continent exists within. Astoria is all that anyone knows of or can comprehend. The dreadnaughts are from Pentu and know of many other worlds.

This is a kingdom in the Great Sea.

He is a Fuscia wizard. He is an artist and an architect. His main interest for centuries has been the democratic movement started in the republic of Peace.
Azul Keep
Owned by Amigae and located a mere 15 miles from the Azural Castle. This is the original home of Amigae. He raised many minor minions at this home.
Azural Castle
This castle is located in northeast Oran. It was the focal point of a great deal of Silver mining for many years.

Mines located south and east of the Castle Azural in Oran. Owned by Lord Amigae.

Bafu
An island off the coast of Cavanador. The island has no known settlements. It had native humans prior to there dying out over a century ago. There are descendants with the surname Baku who live in Os Mae Natal.
Baka (the Stick) (K2)
This is the holiest of all artifacts to the Minoonka peoples of the western regions. The Minoonka worship Noonka who gave the BAKA to them for the trust of keeping the faith. The high priest of Noonka keeps the stick. Many priests have similar sticks to channel their powers and many children have the same item used as toys.
The Great Stick is an artifact of the Minoonka people. The stick is about 36" in length and is made of oak. The stands for the goodness of the minoonkan people. The god Noonka gave the Minoonka people the stick to protect them. It gives the wielder a wish spell up to once per day. Only a Minoonka Medicine man can use the stick. The stick is held by the Chief Grebu. He holds it but has not used it in his 18 years of possession. They know its abuse would bring down the wrath of their deity. The stick will burn doing 3d12+12 to any evil who dares hold the stick. Only a good medicine man can use the wish power of the stick. The stick is truly named "Calahari". A legendary warrior who forced evil humans from the lands of Graka.
Bandar, Great Mentalist
Bandar is an ancient wizard still living in Astoria. He is known for all of the research he did as an up and coming Mentalist. He coined the name Viralist from his use of the mentalist magic. He is a wizard with the most incredible mind.
Bandar Bow
They are crossbow devices that the Mentalist Bandar designed. They shoot sharp disks that are very nasty.
Bane, Duke
Duke Anthony Bane is the Duke of Belliard. He is related by blood to the sea elves of the great sea. He currently has a deal with Zen the Demon hunter as head of security in Abak.
Bards of Thin-roc
They were not Bards at all but were thieves working for Kassandra until they were given up and killed by vampires. They were located out of Omar.

The Duke Avantok became King of Carthapia only recently. He was the former leader of Belliard. He placed a cousin in the duchy after his rise to King. He has been at odds with Duke Kanaeda for years.

This lake is in the middle of Neuposa. It is the largest lake in Astoria. It has natural springs that flow into the lake.
Bennington, Lord Hallthorn
Lord Bennington is a Paladin who lives near Cameron in Aquila. He is a regular participant in the Blood Festival each year there. He has a brother named Raymond and 2 other brothers who always travel together.

This is the central most important education facility in Astoria. It is one of only 2 major universities in Astoria. It is run by the Quantom Church and is home to some of the most powerful and influential persons in Astoria.

This is one of a pair of Festivals held at the Spring and Fall Equinox each year. The Blood Festival is held at the Spring festival. The most famous festival of Blood is held in Aquila at the village of Cameron. The Blood festival is celebrated differently by various church members. The Funterian celebrate the chance for justice, the Luthorians have secret night time attacks on enemies with complete lust and intention.
Blood Lake
This lake has a great deal of history going back to the days when humans inhabited the area now known as Neuposa. The lake is red during some spring months from the flooding of the red clay near the lake.

The name of the Rhinolich, mount of the destroyed Lazareth.
Bolt (Duke and Duchess)
Duke and Duchess Great Bolt who rule the Duchy of Os-Mae-Natal . They live in Castle Ephem'mora with a population of 4530.

Calador is the female god of fire and destruction. Her worshipers are extremely evil.

They are very prominent throughout the Astorian continent but have no central organization. The Luthorian church sees them as the outcast to their world order.

Calin
Calin is the Quantom Priest with the title of Bishop and was given this title under protest. He is currently building his Church in Northern Aquila near Hobble. He is also a coeditor of this Lexicon.

He is best known as the third core member of the Deadnots. He is a very High Priest.

Cataclysm, The
This event marks the beginning of recorded history in Astoria. The records prior to this date are only the Ancient texts. The cataclysm was an event that ripped the great Trolidor apart. The continent was flooded and shifted north to a colder climate. The rest of the continent was thought sunk into the dark seas. The next century marked starvation and new growth. The end of the cataclysm is so marked because the people of the continent began to refer to themselves as Astorian and began the construction of the Bilecki University as well as the great Keeps of Astoria. Once they were complete the Quantom church claimed a new age and named it The Age of the New Record.

This is the place children are told demons and devils come from. This is listed as a plane in Archomodium.

Dakamue
This is a creature from the far depths of Daka. They are broken by powerful Undead hunters and used as steeds. They compare to Night-Mares to some degree but have less spirit and more loyalty.
Daka Shadowbat
These creatures are powerful and often serve evil powers of Astoria.

Lord Damon is a Nosferatu from the family of Tashot. He has been involved with the church of Luthor for a long time.

Dark One
This reference is made of Luthor in many parts of the world. The Oriental word for Luthor is translated as the dark one.

The name given to the sea on the north west coast of Aquila.
Darphos
Boy caught in the time world. Son to Vanessa. Darphos traveled in time to help the Deadnots. He succeeded and disappeared.
Dawne
The original Nosferatu. The first Zoraster, and the creature that spawned the incarnate that has come from his evil deeds in life and now after. A secret order is supposed to have guarded his imprisonment for centuries.
Deadnots
The Deadnots are a notorious group of adventurers who have for many years been building a reputation for destruction and fearlessness throughout Astoria and worlds beyond. They have 5 original members. They include Zen the Demon hunter, Kassandra the Vampire Hunter, Calin the priest of Quantom, Roota Moota the wizard warrior bitch, and Dupont the great wizard. The Deadnots have associated with Airymagnus, Duke Kanaeda, various other nosferatu, the Fuscia wizards, the Quantom church hierarchy, Funterians, and many other creatures. They lost a comrade early on in their days in the Forgotten War named Sabbat. They gained a rogue named Tanis who became an influential soul prior to his retirement and the added member Kassandra. Others have since joined the Deadnots but none voluntarily. These include Neysa the druid, and Sir Valkries the paladin as well as Grell the halfling vampire hunter.   The Deadnots have the reputation in Astoria for getting the job done. When sent by reputable powers they have not failed.
Zen the most prominent warrior in Astoria along with Calin the best friend in a fight have a camaraderie that goes back a long way. The most memorable event that the Deadnots took care of has to be the destruction of Airymagnus and his deadly air castle.
The Deadnots own more power, artifacts, relics and information than any other group. There have been assassination attempts on various members of the Deadnots have been truly successful. Each member has had their close calls. Some more than others. Only Zen has had continuous aid from a Dakamue his loyal steed. The description of the Deadnots can be given but a picture of the core members will go much further than any paragraph.

Great Paladin, special worshipping sect of Funter, The woman who the Medallion relic was named.

  A famous young boy who appears to be possessed. He is actually a demon child. He is a necromancer by nature. A special young member of the Evil party. He is known to carry a bone club and has great powers of mothers and women who are pregnant. His very nature is annoying.
Doe-Gon
A deity who represents the stars and far away travelers. The worshippers are very mathematically inclined.

Dopple-Snatchling
These creatures are powerful telepathic and telekinetic beasts that can devour large crowds of unarmed humans. The creatures are indigenous to the plane of Pentu and which have come with the dreadnaughts.

Dreadnaught
The creatures most feared in Astoria and there home world. The dreadnaught travels through portals there great wizards discovered in the year 119. They conquered Alguador and remained secluded for centuries. Later in 495 the creatures appeared in the Vox mountains and attacked various peaceful peoples including the dwarves. The battle escalated into the Dreadnaught war a year later that was bloody and nasty and lasted 8 years. The dreadnaught have large reptilian heads and gray skin. They stand 5 ½ feet to 7 feet in height. They have uncanny strength as well as great speed and cunning. Home plane is Pentu. They quickly took control of MOBI and have moved to Astoria.

These are half Drow and half minnds. They are very rare and are sterile. They have the blood of Minoonka, Drow and dreadnaughts.

Poweful wizard who is a secret fighter. He is a member of the Deadnots. He has a lot of knowledge he reserves. He is best known for destroying all skeletons in Astoria with a quest scroll he found early in life.
